Quilt Guild and the Pillowcases

I had a great time at quilt guild as usual.  As I talked about it, it was a soup lunch and work day this month.

The total goal was to make 200 pillowcases for foster children in our area.  We almost made that goal just today and still have 2 more months to work on the pillowcases.  They are working on having a foster care representative come in March to collect the pillowcases.

I seen so many pretty combinations of fabrics today.  I completed 3.  Several who didn't bring their machines today helped with cutting and ironing.  That moved those of us who were sewing along a lot faster.   I realized once I was home that I had left my new rotary cutter in a window sill.  This upsets me as this was only the 3rd time I've even used it since I bought it.  I doubt I will see it again.  Not saying anyone would purposely steal it, but so many have the exact same cutter.  I will announce next meeting that I left it behind and see if anyone says they picked it up.  I'm just kicking myself though for getting scatterbrained.

After guild I went to my friends to sort coupons.  Now, I really should be working on cutting those out and getting them in to my binder.  I'm hoping for a paycheck in the mail tomorrow and being able to take a coupon shopping trip.

My mom started running a fever and things yesterday.  Today they put in a prescription for Tamaflu.  I'm not sure if she was able to get it filled though.  Last I talked to her the pharmacy was out and had it on order.

I've been getting a lot of viewing in on content in my 3,000 group.  I've not been commenting, but just viewing content that is getting up there towards being able to be cleared.  Just seen my big note to myself on my wall.  It tells me to put in my superfridge report...which I haven't done yet...and is why that note is on my wall.  Better close this and get that report in!

p.s.  We had a gorgeous day today.....in the upper 70's!  Rumor has it though that starting tomorrow we will have significant drops in temps.
