With everything that has happened recently I've returned to couponing - however there has always been one thing holding me back in this task.  My freezer - it's just too small to stock up on the best deals - the limited space meant I had to plan carefully and not always get as many of something as I could have/wanted to.  This year however I finally convinced the husband that having a chest freezer would be of great benefit, so here it is!

 

It's in my office - the "crib" you see next to it is actually my children's crib converted to a desk.

I am already a big fan of it!

No real point other than to share my excitement!  Two or so years in the making!

I would like a smaller freezer. We put too much stuff in our freezer and then forget what we have.

Good for you girl! That is what I plan to get one day as well. For the same reasons. So, I can stock on the good deals. Right now all I have is the regular freezer, you know that small one attached to the top side of the fridge, lmao. But I am going to get a dryer first. Been waiting to get one since my last one was broke on purpose by an ex friend.about year and a half ago. I am tired of trying to hang clothes up all over my house.

I am having the same problem we have 2 side by side refrg/freezers but it is not enough room. We purchased one like you have to put in a storage area that we have in our basement. We realized there is no place to plug it in due to the way it is wired in that area. We did not want to put it in the finished area of the basement so we had to return it until we figure out another alternative.

My dad had a GIANT chest freezer, and it was often full of frozen veggies from family gardens, and fresh deer meat from various hunters.

I believe we have that same freezer in our basement. We were able to upgrade to a upright freezer in which my husband thought we would be able to retire the one in the basement he was wrong, they are both full including our freezer in our refrigerator. Couponing is the way to go, that is how we keep our pantry full.
Your chest freezer looks great. I plan on getting one of the real soon. That way I can take advantage of more sales when I have the opportunity. Plus, it will come in handy this summer when my garden grows. I can freeze some things to use during winter.
